Aging is Unpredictable, but We’ve Got Solutions!

No matter how much we may think we want to, we cannot stop the body from aging. When the body ages, the skin is one of the first areas to show the signs of internal changes. While there are options for facial rejuvenation such as facelift surgery, many of the people we meet aren’t interested in such a drastic step. We are happy to assist our clients with their aesthetic needs while also respecting their preferences for non-surgical treatment options.
A lot has been learned about minimally-invasive procedures to restore a more youthful appearance. That being said, some of the capabilities of injectable products are still rather mysterious. You may know that dermal fillers can reduce laugh lines, and that Botox can eliminate a persistent frown. But did you know that these products are also a great solution for less talked-about concerns? Let’s take a look at a few:
- Drooping brows. When the connective tissue on the upper face loses resiliency and firmness, it is easy for overactive muscles to pull one or both eyebrows down. Drooping brows make the eyes look older, tired, and even angry. It used to be that, to lift the brow, one had to see a plastic surgeon for a brow lift. Not anymore. Often, a short Botox treatment is all that is needed to reinstate optimal brow position for more open and friendly eyes.
- An aging neck. Loss of volume and elasticity doesn’t just affect the face. As we age, we may experience concerns such as the development of a double-chin, or horizontal lines and looseness across the neck. There are ways to reduce the appearance of both that don’t involve surgery. One of the most popular injectables used today is Kybella, a simple solution for a frustrating double-chin. After submental fullness has been reduced with Kybella, the jawline and neck can be further rejuvenated with Botox and dermal fillers.
- Grandma’s hands. At some point, we all look down and see our mother’s – or our grandmother’s – hands on our own body. Age depletes fat tissue on the hands just like it does the face. This makes the bones on the backs of the hands appear more prominent. Veins may also look more dramatic and ropey. Dermal fillers restore fullness with few, if any, side effects such as temporary redness.
Comfort and optimal results are the focus of all of the treatments we perform in our Aurora office. For more information, call 720-280-7016.
