Remember to Bring Your Lips to the Party

We are entering that time of year when there tend to be more parties and social gatherings to attend. That means more opportunities for selfies, and even for photos we aren’t quite ready for. - Volbella is safe. This filler, like all others in the Juvéderm family, is made with hyaluronic acid. This chemical is organically made by the body, but it decreases as we age. When hyaluronic acid is introduced through small injections, it sits just beneath the skin for several months. Here, the molecules of the sugar acid bind with particles of water. This is what smooths lines and creates volume. Over time, the body naturally metabolizes the hyaluronic acid.
- Volbella results look natural. The reason why Volbella was made is because the lips are a delicate area of tissue. Using large particles of hyaluronic acid could create heaviness, which looks and feels unnatural. Volbella has the smallest particles of hyaluronic acid in any Juvéderm filler. This means soft, smooth, natural-looking lips.
